WASHING TEAM WORKER
Agricultural Division: KZN
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- Washing of poultry houses to regulation
- Assist with vaccination and selection and transfer of birds
- Spreading of Lime Salt mixture on all required areas
- Ensure all persons coming into site follow ALL Bio-security procedures
- Ensure all equipment and items are fumigated into & out of site
- Adhere to Biosecurity procedures at ALL times
- Adhere to 20 keys standards
- Adhere to Animal Welfare standards when transferring or depleting
- Adhere to OHSA standards
- The maintaining of product quality, hygiene and biosecurity standards
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of a grade 12 education.
- Minimum of 3 years poultry experience.
- Passionate, self-motivated and performance driven.
- A team player with the strong people skills.
- Must have good administrative skills and ability to control documents.
- Must be pro-active and be able to work accurately and independently.
- Working hours are irregular and include weekend duties.
- The successful candidate must be prepared to reside in a Hostel on the Farm.
Remuneration will be market related, inclusive of performance bonuses and commensurate with a position of this nature.
