Role Description
Townscape Designs (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis in the Durban Metropolitan Area.
The successful candidate will support the architectural team by producing architectural, technical, working, and construction drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD. The role involves close collaboration with architects and construction teams, assisting with design development, ensuring drawings comply with relevant building codes and regulations, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
The candidate will also be required to travel to site when necessary to attend inspections, conduct measure-ups, perform photographic recording, and assist with documenting existing and as-built facilities.
This position is ideal for a motivated recent graduate looking to gain hands-on industry experience and grow within a professional architectural practice.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of relevant on-the-job experience (internship, graduate role, or junior position).

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT.

Basic experience in preparing architectural, working, and construction drawings.

Exposure to the architecture or construction industry is advantageous.
