1. Main Function of the Role

The incumbent will be responsible for controlling all administrative functions within the branch. This primarily includes processing goods received and finalizing direct orders, along with their associated administrative tasks.

2. Key Performance Areas

  • Finalizing the receiving part of the supplier’s delivery note
  • Invoicing of direct orders
  • Processing all suppliers’ claims for faulty or damaged stock received
  • Handling and processing supplier credit notes related to submitted claims
  • Control and/or finalizing of daily banking
  • Control and/or finalizing of the petty cash
  • Control over reports to balance nominal accounts
  • Control and correction of stock take statistics
  • Filing of all finalized (grouped) invoices
  • Ensuring all offices and pay points of the branch are always neat and tidy

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • A valid Grade 12 certificate (with at least 23 points)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a retail environment
