Main Function of the Role The purpose of the position is to develop new or enhanced business opportunities for Agrimark Namibia and build long-term relationships with prospects needed to increase revenue and maximize profits. 2. Key Performance Areas Generate new monthly business opportunities in line with agreed sales targets Weekly written reporting Generate leads and cold calls with prospective customers Understand and effective respond to customer needs Facilitate customer contracts for agreed business opportunities Liaison with managers and key staff to ensure customer satisfaction Keep abreast of industry trends and changes locally and internationally Carry out and/or assist with sales forecasts/analysis and present findings to Senior Management Plan and prepare/pitch marketing presentations for business opportunities Communicate new product developments to prospective customers Ad hoc and various tasks in line with the scope and duties of this position 3. Qualifications and Experience B-degree in marketing/sales or related field At least 3 years applied experience in agricultural industry Namibian Citizenship with own transport 4. Skills and Attributes Customer orientated Self-starter and ability to motivate oneself and set own goals Good persuasion and influencing skills Excellent communicator Good networking and negotiation skills Creative and good organizational skills Ability to analyze sales figures Be able to adapt and respond to change Β
