Maintenance Artisan Worcester

Role Purpose:

Rainbow Chickens is looking for a Maintenance Artisan x2 to join our Chicken Agriculture Division. We are looking for a qualified Millwright or Traded Electrician with strong Mechanical and Civil experience to join our team. The successful incumbent should have strong supervisory experience to manage a team and work closely with production team. The role will be based in Worcester, Western Cape.

Required Qualifications:

Traded Millwright or Electrician with strong mechanical and civil experience
Driver’s license - code 8 or 10 (compulsory)

Required Experience:

Minimum 3 years of post-trade FMCG maintenance experience
Previous experience in poultry environment - advantage
Repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment
Strong supervisory experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to work and supervisor a team of Handyman and assistants
Ability to communicate on all levels and manage a team
Computer literate (MS Office)
Ability to work systematically
Ability to prioritize workload
Report writing and analysis
Mentoring apprentices
Must be able to work required hours and be available on callouts and standby
Must be physically fit and be able to work in hot and cold environments
Attention to quality and standards of workmanship
