Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship Worcester

Epol is offering a 3-Year Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship. This forms part of our commitment to developing young talent in scarce and critical skills. The purpose is to equip selected candidate with the required technical training and qualifications to support future operational capability.

Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 with Physical Science and Mathematics subjects
N3 qualification with a 50 % pass rate in both Mathematics and Physical Science
N4 and above qualification will be an advantage.

Required subjects:

Mathematics
Engineering science
Engineering drawing, graphics & design / Mechanical draughting
Fitting and machining / Mechanical technology / Mechanotechnology/ Mechanotechnics

Required Experience:

Technical experience in an Engineering field.
Practical experience working in mechanical fitter, FMCG environment will be advantageous.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Attention to detail
Accuracy
Aptitude for engineering
Problem-solving
Driven and highly motivated
Comfortable working in cold environment
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure
Must be physically fit
