Main activities/ Tasks Planning, provisioning, and supporting all servers, networks, and other hardware infrastructure. Manage ICT Technical staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance. Responsibility for cost, time, milestones, and deliverables for the ICT Technical team. Supporting shop floor equipment and software within the various factories. Providing second-level support for all ICT Technical resources. Maintenance and support of all backup infrastructure and ensuring the environment is backed up. Formulating and leading in implementing the ICT strategy in line with policies, processes & procedures to deliver the business objective. Leading the demand side of the ICT governance on behalf of the corporation and communicating high-level business requirements. Identifying and implementing IT governance, risk management, security management, and compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks using policies and best practices. Due to the nature of the job, extra hours will be required from time to time, which may necessitate working into the evening, on public holidays, or weekends. The incumbent may also be required to travel from time to time. Perform other reasonable duties outside the scope of this job description as might be requested by a senior. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or an equivalent qualification. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the ICT environment. Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience. Exposure to leading hypervisors like VM Ware and Citrix Xen server. Disaster Recovery methodologies Configuration and Maintaining of Dell servers and SAN storage. Budgeting principles. Have a valid code 8/EB driver's license as well as reliable transport. COMPUTER LITERACY USING THE FOLLOWING PACKAGES: Backup: Veritas Netbackup and Veeam. Hypervisors: VM Ware and Citrix Xen server. Windows: Win 10, Servers 2012, 2016, and 2019. Database: SQL 2016, 2019, and Oracle support. Microsoft Office 2019. SKILLS REQUIRED: Conceptual Thinker. People Management & Leadership Skills. Project Management skills.
