Job purpose: Responsible for designing, implementing and governing the big data architecture & strategies that meet business requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect, ingest, transform, and analyze data to uncover insights for business decision making. Main/Principal Missions: Designing and implementing Big Data solutions. Designing and implementing data pipeline orchestration. Designing, implementation, and managing databases to ensure high availability and data integrity. Lead & coordinate all business intelligence related projects and ensure compliance to data integrity standards. Evaluate the effectiveness of the current BI strategies & provide insightful recommendations. Work closely with internal business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure objectives, priorities and key requirements are understood and agreed upon. Implementing BI data securities and ensure compliance with the data protection act and regulatory requirements. Effectively communicate data trends, inconsistencies, unavailability to executive Internal Digitization (Data Analytics) Ensure timely delivery of business reports and data accuracy Qualification & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems / Statistics Five (5) years experience in a data analytics environment with emphasis in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics / Big Data Skills & Competencies: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Innovative, proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala Project Management skills Strong communication skills Excellent knowledge of data management technologies and scripting languages (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle) Data modelling & Pipelines automation Data analysis & Visualization Working experience with Programming languages (Python, Java, Scala)
