Manager: Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk & Compliance  Windhoek

We are seeking an experienced Manager: Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk & Compliance to lead and strengthen the Group’s cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance framework. The role ensures alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice while protecting customer data and high-volume transactional environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance cybersecurity governance structures, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide strategic cybersecurity guidance to executive leadership on threats, regulations, and security investments.
  • Drive security awareness and support internal stakeholders in adopting best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and DevOps to embed security-by-design across systems and applications.
  • Lead enterprise and third‑party cyber risk assessments and maintain risk treatment plans.
  • Prioritise mitigation of high‑impact threats such as ransomware, phishing, and data breaches.
  • Support compliance programs, audits, gap analyses, and remediation aligned to relevant laws and standards.
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting, incident notifications, and external audits.
  • Enhance cybersecurity controls, metrics tracking, and compliance training.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC will be an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge in networking, operating systems, cloud security, and identity & access management.
