Main missions of the job:
Management of all IP Network Security & technical related issues (IPPABX, OBW LAN, Remote WAN sites, Outsourced Call Centers, GIN Flows,3rd Party VPNs, All OBW Innovation Projects etc.)
Main activities:
- Participate in support missions related to network and security infrastructure.
- Manage migration projects, configurations and implementation of network and security infrastructure developments.
- Support Orange Botswana in migration projects (data and flows collection, reconstruction of flow matrices, service platforms migration, post migration support).
- Support datacenter architecture extension projets.
- Ensure reporting related to the data center equipment lifecycle (EOS, EOL, security bulletin, alert).
- Analyze the performance of existing networks and services and propose recommendations
- Recommend technical solutions for the introduction of new services and technically manage the process of defining and validating E2E service architectures.
- Provide appropriate technical recommendations based on OBW constraints.
- Manage and maintain network (LAN/WAN) and security (Firewalls, Load balancer, etc.) equipment in operational condition,
- IPSec VPN configurations and maintenance.
- Provide training in IP Network Technologies.
- Provides high level maintenance, support, and administration on Firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Architects, designs, implements, maintains and operates IP systems controls and countermeasures.
- Responds to IP Network incidents, including security related issues, coordinates with third-party incident responders.
- Support Wireless and Wire Networks connectivity for equipment and users.
Competency skills needed:
- Good knowledge of IP routing and Switching.
- Good knowledge of server hardware troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge and skills to configure, troubleshoot, manage and protect DataNetwork.
- Good understanding of Video and Voice session protocols.
- Good knowledge in wireless networks configuration.
- Good knowledge of IT policies and networks (backups, access, confidentiality ...)
- Knowledge of the architecture of computer networks, OS Linux, Unix, etc.
- Any certification (CEH, CISA, CCIE / CCNP Security, etc ...) is a plus.
- Good knowledge of IT Network Security Tools & Methods.
- Good Knowledge of CISCO IP Fabric Technology/Concept
- Experience in IP Fabric (CISCO Nexus 9K Switches, Radware ADC, Fortinet Firewalls)
- Good Presentation skills
- Good knowledge in Telco Network and Service Platf
Education and experience requirements:
- 5 years of experience in networks and information systems security, preferably with an operator or supplier.
- BSc in any Information Systems or Computer Studies with added advantages in:
- Certification in Cisco Certified Network Professional, NS6/7.
- Wireless Network Certification
- Certified Information Security Systems Professional.
- Fortinet Network Security Expert. Juniper Certified Fabric Administrator
- RADWARE Application Delivery Controller
