Purpose

Pupkewitz MegaTech Renewable Energy is seeking a driven, customer-focused, and technically competent Renewable Energy Sales Consultant to proactively grow sales, develop new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional service within our renewable energy portfolio.

This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional with strong sales ability, technical knowledge in solar systems, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.

Requirements

  • Completed NSSCO/NSSCAS or Grade 12.
  • Tertiary qualification, Trade Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent and/or
  • Code B\C Driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of solar systems and renewable energy products.
  • Understanding of Low Voltage AC/DC electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in using an ERP/ business system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Key Result Areas

  • Grow and expand the regional renewable energy customer base.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with contractors, installers, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop new accounts and collect information about market and competitor prices.
  • Maximise sales opportunities across new and existing accounts to achieve monthly targets.
  • Build strong customer relationships and maintain healthy customer accounts.
  • Provide technical support and basic troubleshooting of solar systems where required.
  • Inspect returned products and support warranty processes.
  • Identify training needs and provide support in solar product knowledge to fellow sales team.
  • Monitor solar stock levels and support inventory forecasting and sourcing.
  • Support branch-level promotions and increase renewable energy brand awareness.
  • Ensure availability of marketing materials and maintain merchandising standards.
  • Participate in stock counts and perform general administrative duties as required.
