A vacancy currently exists for a Systems Officer at Meadow Feeds in the Western Cape. The successful candidate will be based at Paarl.
The successful candidate would be responsible to:
- Maintain all quality systems and policy documentation;
- Manage all internal and external quality systems audits (20 Keys, ISO, GMP, HACCP, Risk);
- Facilitate the 20 Keys Program;
- Control and record non-conformance and customer care reports;
- Control and maintain work instructions;
- Monitor and control security;
- Manage pest control, hygiene and deep cleaning programs;
- Compile monthly quality reports;
- Ensure all relevant risk, health & safety training is conducted timeously and according to relevant standards;
- Commitment and compliance to the requirements of ISO 9001-2015, ISO 22000-2005, HACCP, 20 Keys, AFMA code of conduct, and any other company management systems.
The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
- A Grade 12 certificate and a tertiary qualification in Quality Assurance or Total Quality Management would be advantageous;
- Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Knowledge of the ISO/GMP/HACCP Management Systems, Risk management and the 20 KEYS (PPORF) system;
- Ability to progress in a multi-skilled environment and a willingness to learn;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- A personal and professional integrity are key requirements;
- Converse fluently in both English and Afrikaans.
