Role Purpose:

Manage and enhance HRIS and remuneration processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless user experience that supports strategic, data-driven HR decisions.

Role Contribution to Organisational Strategy:

This position is pivotal to Astral's strategic focus on investing in high-quality operations and people development by managing and optimising HR Information Systems and benefits. The role ensures that HRIS support process and operational efficiencies, align with business strategies, and foster a culture of employee empowerment and operational excellence.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Enhance HRIS Data Integrity and Security
  • Oversee Employee Reward and Benefits Programme
  • Leverage HRIS for Strategic Decision Making
  • Implement Process improvement and Automation
  • Improve Stakeholder Satisfaction via HRIS
  • Enhance HRIS Alignment with Sustainability Goals
  • Liaise with Vendors for collaboration and optimal service delivery

Role Requirements: 

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or IT
  • Advantageous Qualifications: Certification in HR Analytics or Project Management

Required Experience:

  • Total of 8 years minimum work experience
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR Management & Payroll; Human Resources & Recruitment; IT-Quality Assurance & Inspection; System Administration / Management
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working at a Senior Management level
  • Advantageous: Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in Agriculture & FMCG
