1. Main Function of the Role

The Branch Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the Walvis Bay Fitment Centre to achieve operational excellence, drive performance, optimise productivity, and ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. The role focuses on effective people leadership, operational control, and customer-focused service delivery.

2. Key Performance Areas

Branch Operations & Performance

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Fitment Centre to ensure efficiency and productivity.

  • Drive branch performance against operational and financial targets.

  • Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company service standards.

People Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise branch staff to achieve individual and team performance goals.

  • Build positive working relationships and maintain high staff morale.

  • Manage performance, discipline, and labour relations matters in line with company policies.

Financial & Administrative Control

  • Apply basic financial management principles to control costs and improve profitability.

  • Support credit management processes and ensure compliance with financial controls.

Compliance, Policies & Systems

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, systems, and procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure effective use of company systems.

Customer & Stakeholder Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Handle negotiations and resolve issues professionally and effectively.

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 qualification (Commercial Degree or Diploma will be an advantage).

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory or managerial experience.

  • Proven experience in leading teams in an operational environment.

  • Valid driver’s licence.
