Role Purpose:

  • To facilitate the implementation of the SHE systems to reduce Occupational Health, Safety and environmental risks.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • National Diploma in Safety Management or Equivalent or Btech in SHE or a technical field (engineering)

 

Required Experience:

  • 1- 2-year relevant experience in FMCG SHERQ working environment
  • Minimum of 1– 2 years’ experience is required in a similar capacity within an FMCG environment
  • Must have Working Knowledge of OHS Act and Compensation for Occupational Injury and Disease Act, Environmental Legislation and other relevant legislation

Key Responsibilities

 

TIMS:

  • Facilitates implementation of Total Integrated Management Systems (TIMS).
  • Document control of all TIMS documents
  • Preparation of reports & presentations required as per TIMS
  • Maintains administration of the TIMS’ records, documentation, files and manuals to ensure risk management, sustainability, and continuous improvement and realization of commercial benefit, improvement of OHS injuries and incidents including Environmental related incidents.
  • Capture and manage; Non-Conformances, Corrective Action Request, Internal Audit, Incident Management and Change Control, System software, data management and integrity.
  • Auditing of daily check sheets, records documentation and reports.

 

Internal & External Audits:

  • Assisting with documentation, records and files during both internal and external audits.
  • Perform operational audits/inspections in relation to OHS and Environmental.
  • Participates in Store visits and audits
