Role Purpose:

• To ensure sufficient stock availability as per production schedule

Required Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeric level

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in a production environment, minimum of 3 months

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

• Basic Computer Literacy
• Physically fit – able to carry 50kg bags
• High level of honesty and integrity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Shift work and overtime

 

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Supply required medication from the store to the allocated storage areas at the point of use to the bins/minerals.
• Maintain micro bin levels.
• Weigh hand additions according to the order schedule
• Ensure additions to the batches according to the recipes and order schedule as required by production.
• Adherence to Feed Safety Standards and Procedures
• Adhere to Health, Safety Environmental Standards and Procedures
• Perform daily and month end stock count
