Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in inventory optimization, forecasting, and procurement planning to ensure product availability while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Inventory Optimization: Maintain Netstock systems, manage stock levels, and adjust replenishment parameters to minimize excess and prevent stockouts.
  • Forecasting & Revenue Management: Develop accurate demand forecasts, analyze sales data, and identify growth and revenue improvement opportunities.
  • Procurement & Replenishment: Manage supplier orders (local and international), streamline replenishment processes, and ensure cost-effective logistics.
  • Margin Optimization: Monitor and enhance gross profit margins through pricing, promotions, and competitive benchmarking.
  • System Management: Ensure data accuracy in Netstock and ERP systems, generate performance reports, and train team members.
  • General Duties: Foster stakeholder relationships, support stock counts, ensure SHE compliance, and assist with divisional initiatives.

 

 Educational Background and Experience:

  • Must have completed Grade 11 (New Curriculum) or Grade 12 (NSSC-O) with 22 marks.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience in demand planning, inventory control, or procurement.
  • Experience with inventory planning software (Netstock preferred) and ERP systems (Kerridge advantageous).
