1. Main Function of the Role

The Repack Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production, packing, and inventory processes to ensure efficient operations, accurate order fulfillment, and compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards. The role ensures that production schedules are met, resources are effectively utilized, and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

 

2. Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

Order Generation & Production Processing

• Ensure production orders are generated and processed accurately in SAP.
• Monitor picking, packing, and production processes to meet deadlines.
• Maintain availability of raw materials to prevent production delays.
• Ensure accurate labeling, costing, and product setup in SAP.

Production & Packing Operations

• Supervise picking, repackaging, and labeling processes.
• Ensure correct product sizes, quantities, and specifications.
• Oversee Goods Receipt Verification (GRV) processes for accuracy.
• Maintain high levels of packing efficiency and order accuracy.

Health, Safety & Hygiene Compliance

• Enforce PPE usage and workplace safety standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Maintain strict hygiene practices among staff.

Cost & Resource Management

• Manage production costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure optimal use of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Minimize waste and improve operational efficiency.

Equipment & Resource Utilization

• Ensure availability and proper use of tools and packaging materials.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to reduce downtime.

Contamination Prevention & Waste Management

• Prevent contamination through proper handling and storage practices.
• Ensure compliance with waste management procedures.
• Maintain a clean and controlled production environment.

Customer Satisfaction

• Ensure orders meet quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Maintain high order accuracy and minimize customer complaints.
• Ensure consistent stock availability across branches.

Inventory & SAP Management

• Process production orders accurately and timeously in SAP.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and storage practices.
• Ensure real-time stock availability for sales operations.

Innovation & Process Improvement

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Promote innovation to reduce costs and improve productivity.

 

3. Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 (minimum requirement).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments.
• SAP or similar system experience (advantageous).
