Role Purpose:

• Electrical maintenance and repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Electrical Trade Test
• Wireman’s license 
• Drivers license – Code 8 EB minimum

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years post Trade test experience
• MV experience (MV termination and jointing)
• Refrigeration would be advantageous
• Poultry experience would be advantageous
• Must be willing to work standby, weekends and overtime

Role Responsibilities:  

• Inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment as per supplier requirements set out in the maintenance manuals and schedules.
• Planning of work according to maintenance plan and schedule and per breakdown
• Maintenance and repair of all Agriculture related machinery and equipment in accordance to the maintenance plan and schedule
• Assistance across all operations when required.
• Daily inspection of all work completed at Agriculture including residential buildings and issuing of certificate of compliance

General

• Training and development of maintenance handyman under direct control to artisan level
• Maintain discipline and workmanship standards.
• Daily issuing of certificate of compliance on machine or equipment where any engineering related work was executed.
• Issue daily job cards and inspect work executed
• Maintain Daily time sheets
• Order equipment and spares.
• Perform standby duties.
• Inspect and ensure contractual work are completed to the required standards prior to any sign off.
