Artisan - Electrician X3 PMB

Role Purpose:

Electrical maintenance and repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Electrical Trade Certificate – Olifantsfontein preferably
Drivers license – Code 8 EB minimum
Wireman’s License

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5 years post Trade test experience
Poultry experience would be advantageous
Must be willing to work standby, weekends and overtime

Role Responsibilities:

Inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment as per supplier requirements set out in the maintenance manuals and schedules.
Planning of work according to maintenance plan and schedule and per breakdown
Maintenance and repair of all Agriculture related machinery and equipment in accordance to the maintenance plan and schedule
Assistance across all operations when required.
Daily inspection of all work completed at Agriculture including residential buildings and issuing of certificate of compliance.

General
Training and development of maintenance handyman under direct control to artisan level
Maintain discipline and workmanship standards.
Daily issuing of certificate of compliance on machine or equipment where any engineering related work was executed.
Issue daily job cards and inspect work executed
Maintain Daily time sheets
Order equipment and spares.
Perform standby duties.
Inspect and ensure contractual work are completed to the required standards prior to any sign off.
