Main Function of the Role

As a Team Member at KFC, your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the efficient operation of the restaurant. This includes preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, adhering to food safety standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

Key Performance Areas

  1. Customer Service:
    • Greet customers warmly and professionally.
    • Assist customers with orders and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
  2. Food Preparation:
    • Prepare food items according to KFC’s standards and recipes.
    • Maintain food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
  3. Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
    • Support fellow team members during peak hours or busy shifts.
  4. Store Maintenance:
    • Keep workstations clean and organized.
    • Participate in daily cleaning schedules to maintain overall store hygiene.
  5. Problem Solving:
    • Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
    • Address operational challenges proactively with guidance from supervisors.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Requirement: Junior Certificate (JC)
  • Experience: No prior work experience is required.

 

Skills and Attributes

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work long hours standing.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills to manage transactions and perform simple calculations.
  • Customer Service: Strong people skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for customers.
