Purpose: Rainbow is seeking a dynamic and strategic Feed Brand Integrity Manager (SHERQ) to lead compliance, health & safety, quality assurance, sustainability, and operational integrity across feed production operations. This Centurion-based role will be reporting directly to the MD– Feed. Location: Based at Centurion office and will be required to travel to feed mills within South Africa Requirements: BSc. Food Science, Animal Science or related qualification Diploma in quality management and/or occupational Health and Safety A minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience in an animal feed environment with at least 3 years in a management role Strong digital literacy - Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform super-user experience is an advantage ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 knowledge Act 36 of 1947 knowledge and experience Driver’s License Main Responsibilities: Overview Co-create and drive the national Animal Feed SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, Quality) strategy in collaboration with management team in feed and Rainbow Ensure alignment with market trends and regulatory requirements. Provide technical, legal, and advisory support to internal and external stakeholders, participate in industry committees, and act as management representative for the ISO certification. Maintain certification of the integrated management system Management Systems Oversight of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) implementation and maintenance Internal / external audit management and execution Management Reviews Supplier Management Programme with Procurement Managing corrective actions, complaints and non-conformances Document management – approval etc. Oversight of licenses and permits and providing support where additional resources required Drive 5S within the business Risk & Safety Governance Risk Reviews for the Epol business Feed Safety – HACCP Management SHERQ dashboards Incident reporting & proactive prevention strategies Support and management of external audits: RCL/Financial, MARSH, Biosecurity Sustainability Management Water and energy reduction initiatives, monitoring fuel usage Driving ESG-related projects and reporting SharePoint management Permissions management, document library / list updates Maintain strict structure of the system Develop the system where the gaps appear Innovations Drive improvements that support and promote the integration of systems into the business Drive improvement projects for biosecurity, feed safety, safety, health and environmental Skills: Solutions-based Energetic Strategic planner and well organised Excellent communicator Excellent interpersonal relationship builder Analytical and Critical Thinker Innovative Adaptable and resilient Ability to work independently
