The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
• Planning, organising and controlling all Egg Room activities to achieve production standards
• Managing staff related matters.
• Maintaining product quality, hygiene and biosecurity standards.
• Overseeing receiving, grading, accurate stock control and dispatch of eggs.
• Assisting management with implementation of the 20 keys programme.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of a grade 12 qualification
• Minimum of 3 years Egg Room/Hatchery experience.
• Strong numerical skills for accurate stock counting and reconciliation.
• Pro-active and be able to work accurately and independently.
• Willing to work irregular hours, including weekends.
• Will be required to live on site.
