Role Purpose:

Epol is looking for a talented Weighbridge Operator to ensure that all outgoing finished products are weigh correctly and to perform private weighing services to public

Required Qualifications:

• Grade 12

• Computer Literate 

 

Required Experience:

• experience as a weighbridge operator will be an advantage.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

• Knowledge of operations of weigh bridge and completion of applicable documentation (record keeping)

• MLI Weighbridge management solution

• SAP and Excel Orientated

• Microsoft Excell

• Communication Skills

• Able to work under pressure.

• Attention to detail

 

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Obtain particulars of arriving client, registration number of vehicle and ascertain type of product to be weighed.

• Ensure OTIF deliveries to all farms on daily basis as per delivery schedule.

• Weigh load and complete all particulars on MLI Weighbridge management solution..

• Data correctly captured on computer

• Direct client to area where product is to be offloaded.

• Weigh empty and full vehicle and obtain weigh bridge slip.

• Print out weigh bridge slip for driver and relevant paperwork for Customers/Farmers.

• Obtain particulars of driver , truck and seal numbers for record purposes on paperwork.

• Weigh full vehicle and complete all particulars on computer system.

• Forward copy of weigh bridge slip and sales/dispatch control form to relevant person/farm.

• Follow procedure for bulk loading.

• Monthly/ Weekly weighbridge calibration
