Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for efficiently managing the receipt and inspection of all incoming stock. This role ensures that deliveries are accurate, undamaged, and properly documented, maintaining records of all incoming shipments. The incumbent collaborates with the procurement, warehouse, and inventory teams to ensure that products are accurately received and made available for distribution. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall supply chain efficiency.

Requirements
- Completed NSSCO/NSSCAS or Grade 12
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, stock control or retail environment will be an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy and experience working with stock or ERP systems will be beneficial.
- Valid Code B Driverβs License will be an added advantage.
- Basic Electrical knowledge will be an added advantage.
- High level of accuracy.

Key Result Areas
- Ensure all incoming goods are correctly received, inspected for quality and quantity, and matched with purchase orders.
- Verify documentation such as delivery notes and invoices against physical shipments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all received items, including logging information into inventory management systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of receipts, delivery notes, and other related documents.
- Assist in maintaining stock accuracy by reporting discrepancies in received quantities or damaged goods.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and quality control teams to resolve issues with orders, such as incorrect shipments or damaged goods.
- Ensure that corrective actions are taken when issues arise with deliveries.
- Notify receiving supervisor of any incorrectly supplied items and/or breakages.
- GRV (goods received voucher) the stock that matches to the supplier invoice.
- Flag and inform receiving supervisor of items that does not scan.
- Assist with daily cycle counts.
- Participate in bi-annual stock takes.
