Key Requirements:
•Namibian Citizenship or holders of a valid permanent residence status
•Bachelor of Accounting Degree required
•Experience in automotive industry would be an added advantage
•3-5 years’ experience in various finance positions, with proven experience in financial management or auditing.
•Experience and ability in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS
•Good knowledge, Namibian tax laws and ability to perform VAT, provisional and final tax calculations
•Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
•High level of integrity and the understanding to handle matters confidentially
•Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint. Etc)
•Ability to work independently
• High level of adaptability to change, willingness to embrace technology & AI plus continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
•Monitor adherence to financial policies and procedures across all dealerships
•Conduct spot checks for accuracy and compliance in financial transactions
•Regularly visit dealerships to provide training and check compliance with financial policies
•Identify financial risks and collaborate with management to implement mitigation strategies
•Compile periodic reports with recommendations on financial adherence and risks including improvements.
•Support continuous improvement and policy development in financial controls.
