Our commitment to optimal animal nutrition has made us the largest feed company in Africa and the leading supplier of innovative, high-performance feed solutions. An exciting opportunity exists for a Systems Officer at Meadow Feeds Standerton to join our team.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

  • Maintain all systems and policy documentation.     
  • Manage all internal and external quality systems audits (ISO Food safety, GMP, HACCP,Risk).
  • Facilitating the 20 Keys improvement Programme. 
  • Control and record non-conformance and customer care reports.
  • Control and maintain work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Job observations
  • Compile monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Ensure all relevant risk, health & safety training is conducted timeously & according to standards.
  • Facilitate the Occupational Health Risk Assessment and Risk Planning
  • Ensure all Legal Appointments as per the OHS Act is in place.
  • Commitment and compliance to the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, 20 Keys, AFMA code of conduct, and any other company management systems.

 The successful candidate ideally would meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of Grade 12 with relevant qualification
  • A tertiary qualification in Quality Assurance, Quality Management and OHS would be advantageous.
  • Work experience in a production environment.
  • Knowledge of the ISO/GMP/HACCP Management Systems, Risk management and the 20 KEYS (PPORF) systems would be beneficial.
  • Be able to converse in English and have good verbal, written and numerical skills. 
  • Ability to progress in a multi-skilled environment and a willingness to learn.
