Role Purpose: To safely and efficiently operate the tractor, front-end loader, and forklift. Thereby supporting siding, production and warehouse operations. Required Qualifications: Grade 12 A valid driver’s license minimum code 5 (Tractor) Valid Reach truck and counterbalance license Required Experience: • 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar high paced environment Required Knowledge and Skills: Communication Skills Ability to work under pressure Attention to detail Time Management to ensure schedules are completed on time Problem Solving Report writing Key responsibilities of the role: Conduct forklift, tractor as well as front-end loader safety checks, complete checklist, report faults and filling of diesel Utilise Forklift / Tractor to offload of incoming raw material Ensure correct allocation of storage for the raw materials prior to moving it Ensuring that bags are neatly packed and correctly stacked onto pallets. Communicate regularly and immediately with the Team Leader Siding and/or management on problems and faults Adherence to Health and Safety requirements Stock management through FIFO principle
