The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

 

• Being accountable for Company vehicle.
• The successful candidate must ensure that the vehicle is hygienic and contamination free.
• Servicing all routes designated to the vehicle.
• Basic administration duties.
• Maintaining the vehicle in the condition specified in the Astral policy manual.
• Maintaining and adhering to the 20 keys principles including Health & Safety of the department.

 

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

 

• Recommended 3-5 years’ experience in horse and inter link trailer driving.
• EC driver’s license with PDP is a strict requirement.
• Mechanical Experience and Mechanical parts knowledge.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Must have knowledge of all areas in Gauteng & Mpumalanga.
• Ability to communicate and liaise at all levels.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Must be a team player and have the ability to work in a diverse working environment.
• Must have excellent communication, problem solving and planning skills.
• Must be fluent in English and a second official language.
• Must be willing to work Shifts.
• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
• Excellent customer relations skills, a high level of personal and professional integrity and clean bill of health are key requirements.
