1. Main Function of the Role

To coordinate and manage supply chain activities to ensure the timely, cost-effective movement of products from suppliers to warehouses and retail outlets, while meeting business, quality, and regulatory requirements.

 

2. Key Performance Areas

• Coordinate inventory levels across warehouses and stores to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.
• Ensure on-time, in-full deliveries from warehouses to stores.
• Liaise with third-party warehouse providers regarding stock control, deliveries, and stock counts.
• Monitor and report on supply chain performance (out-of-stocks, damages, expiry risks, promotions).
• Support supplier compliance with quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
• Implement supply chain improvement initiatives aligned with company strategy.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and coordinate permits with government departments.

 

3. Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 / High school diploma (required).
• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Working knowledge of stock management and logistics processes.
• Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics role.
• Experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
