Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and solutions-driven Checker. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all incoming and outgoing goods are accurately checked, verified, and documented in accordance with company procedures. The Checker plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, minimising stock losses, and supporting smooth and efficient warehouse operations. This position requires a detail-oriented, reliable, and vigilant individual who can work well under pressure and maintain high standards of accuracy at all times.

Requirements

  • Completed NSSCO/NSSCAS or Grade 12.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (Checker/Picker role).
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical/technical products will be an advantage.
  • Must be a team player and self-driven.

Key Result Areas

  • Check and verify stock on invoice for despatching.
  • Ensure correct stock is loaded for customer.
  • Assist customers with loading of stock.
  • Assist customer with any other queries regarding collection of stock.
  • Assist with cycle counts.
  • Participate in regular stock takes.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST.
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible and energetic.
