Astral is a leading Southern African integrated poultry producer with an exciting opportunity available for a Teleseller to join their sales team within the County Fair business unit based in Epping in the Western Cape.

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

• Establishing strong relationships with customers
• Professionally responding to all telephonic sales inquiries
• Promoting and growing the company brands
• Interacting with existing and new clients
• Ensuring that our full range of products are sold to our customers
• Maintaining a specified customer base and ensuring excellent sales service
• Maintaining good customer service working relationship
• Sales administration duties

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Sales experience in a FMCG or Poultry environment is advantageous
• Must be computer literate with excellent skills in MS Word and MS Excel
• Fluent in English and an additional official language
• Multitasking and high attention to detail
• Ability to work in a highly pressurized environment
• Punctuality and the ability to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills
• The ideal candidate must be focused, detail orientated and deadline driven.
• Honesty and integrity is a vital requirement
