Job Overview:
The Hire Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a exceptional equipment hire experience for all clients. As the central point of customer interaction and operational coordination, the Hire Specialist ensures that clients receive the right equipment, in excellent condition, on time, and with a high level of service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and fulfill client equipment hire needs.
  • Gain in-depth product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
  • Book equipment, register new customers, prepare quotes, issue invoices, and process payments.
  • Provide technical support and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all equipment is accounted for, and in good working condition.
  • Adhere to operational standards, dress code, and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual.
  • Administer relevant documentation and manage daily counter operations.
  • Coordinate driver logistics for equipment deliveries and collections.
  • Take responsibility for the appearance and upkeep of the outlet and customer-facing areas.

Working Hours

  • Aligned with PMB hours.
 

Qualifications Required:

  • Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the tool and equipment hire industry
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
