1. Main Function of the Role

The Risk Finance Consultant is responsible for executing sales and marketing activities, managing client relationships, and ensuring effective administration and reporting within the assigned region. The role focuses on achieving sales and retention targets, promoting company products, and providing excellent client service in alignment with the company’s marketing strategy.


2. Key Performance Areas

Sales

  • Achieve annual regional sales targets and administration fee objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and agents.

  • Execute all sales activities for the designated region.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate sales records, including leads, contact reports, and engagement documentation.

  • Demonstrate thorough product knowledge (Multi-Peril Policy, Income Protection Policy, Credit Insurance).

  • Promote and cross-sell products across the Nictus Group.

Marketing

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing and advertising activities.

  • Participate in promotional events, trade shows, and campaigns.

  • Coordinate marketing activities with senior management to support brand visibility and client acquisition.

  • Ensure quality and attention to detail in all marketing initiatives.

Client Management

  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention in line with set targets.

  • Manage cancellations and endorsements effectively.

  • Provide prompt and professional client service (within 24 hours of requests).

  • Maintain and update client databases and visitation schedules.

Administration

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all administrative and client documentation.

  • Maintain organized tracking systems for leads, marketing activities, and processes.

  • Prepare and submit required statistics and management information reports.

  • Ensure compliance with administrative procedures and continuous process improvements.

Reporting

  • Compile and submit monthly marketing, client visit, and premium reports.

  • Assist in preparing sponsorship and post-event activity reports.


3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric)

  • Tertiary Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Risk Management, Finance Engineering, or Bachelor of Commerce.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of practical experience in sales, risk management, or a related financial services field.

  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
