Main Function of the Role

A Customer Experience Team Member is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food products, maintaining restaurant cleanliness, and ensuring operational standards are consistently achieved in line with KFC policies and procedures.

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

Customer Service

  • Deliver friendly, professional, and engaging customer interactions.
  • Ensure a welcoming and customer-focused restaurant environment.
  • Handle customer concerns and provide solutions in a professional manner.

Food Preparation & Operations

  • Prepare, pack, and store products according to KFC operational standards.
  • Follow approved food preparation procedures, holding times, and temperatures.
  • Operate Point of Sale systems and follow cash handling procedures accurately.

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain cleanliness of restaurant areas and equipment.
  • Follow health, safety, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with KFC operational procedures and CHAMPS standards.

Teamwork & Operational Support

  • Work effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support restaurant efficiency during peak trading periods.
  • Follow management instructions and contribute positively to team culture.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent.
  • BGCSE Certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service or restaurant experience is advantageous.
  • Basic English communication and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to operate POS systems and technical devices.
