Purpose of the Role: Ensure Start up times are adhered to and make sure condition of equipment is up to standard and ready for use Ownership of equipment and accountability Perform Safety checks of equipment Manage and implement Quick change over techniques Key Responsibilities: Operating machine to fulfill efficiency. Start up and shut down of equipment. Assist with breakdowns of equipment. Maintain hygiene and quality standards. Ability to complete job and assist in meeting daily production targets. Perform all job tasks with accuracy and speed. Be an integral part of a high-performance team. Compliance to all Food, Health and Safety standards. Knowledge/ Experience: Knowledge of Poultry Coating machinery would be an advantage. 2 years relevant experience. Skills & Attributes: Mechanical aptitude. Ability to achieve required production results. Ability to communicate in English. Psychically fit and able to work. Qualification: Grade 12 (Standard 10) with Maths, Science and Technical subjects or N3. It would be preferable for candidates to have a Poultry Meat Examiners/Inspectors Certificate.
