National Sales Manager - Industry  Coast

1. Main Function of the Role

The National Sales Manager: Industry is responsible for leading the Industrial Division’s sales operations, ensuring the effective management of customer and supplier interactions, stock, and regional sales initiatives. This role focuses on driving revenue growth by implementing sales strategies, coordinating branch activities, and fostering efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork across all operational functions. The position requires extensive national travel to support and oversee industrial sales and operational activities.

2. Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

The successful candidate will be accountable for:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement robust sales strategies to drive revenue and market growth.
  • Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, motivate, and manage in-house sales teams to achieve operational and sales targets.
  • Customer & Supplier Management: Execute and control activities for industrial clients and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Stock & Inventory Management: Forecast and replenish stock requirements, and manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and RCC operations nationwide.
  • Operational Support: Assist the Industrial Division with branch sales operations and regional sales initiatives.
  • Business Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends and inventory needs to inform decision-making.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and human resource guidelines while maintaining accurate operational records.

3. Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful sales results and developing strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in SAGE X3 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the country to support operational and sales activities.
