The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

  • Spreading of Lime Salt mixture on all required areas
  • Ensure all persons coming into site follow ALL Bio-security procedures
  • Ensure all equipment and items are fumigated into & out of site
  • Clean mini business unit, shower, ablution, chemical store & fumigations daily
  • Ground Maintenance (cutting grass, weeding, cleaning electric fence)
  • Washing, drying & packing of required PPE daily
  • Adhere to Biosecurity procedures at ALL times
  • Adhere to 20 keys standards
  • Adhere to Animal Welfare standards when transferring or depleting
  • Adhere to OHSA standards
  • The maintaining of product quality, hygiene and biosecurity standards

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of a grade 12 education.
  • Minimum of 3 years poultry experience.
  • Passionate, self-motivated and performance driven.
  • A team player with the strong people skills.
  • Must have good administrative skills and ability to control documents.
  • Must be pro-active and be able to work accurately and independently.
  • Working hours are irregular and include weekend duties.

Please note the successful candidate must be prepared to reside in a Hostel on the farm.

Remuneration will be market related, inclusive of performance bonuses andΒ commensurate with a position of this nature.
